Moyes: "We have made no offer for Bale"

Manchester United manager David Moyes has stated that his club "has not made any offer to Tottenham for Gareth Bale". Although he insisted that he had absolutely no connection with the player, he did say that "Manchester United will always be interested in the best players and we'll always be looking to try and improve the team. The owners have given me every opportunity to get who I want so we'll continue to look for those players." That said, the English manager, left the door ajar: "I can't say much more than that at present."
