Hold On Be Strong

Real Madrid hopes Bale will be in the Spanish capital on Monday for the official presentation. However, it may well be a round trip for the Welsh player as he has been called up to join the Wales squad in his hometown, Cardiff, the very next day. He has been named in Chris Coleman's Wales squad for World Cup qualifying matches against Macedonia and Serbia.

After more than two months of negotiations with Tottenham and 38 days without Bale playing a single match, Real Madrid firmly believes he should stay at the Valebebas training ground instead of flying back to join the Wales team.
The Whites are already hard at work trying to convince the Wales Football Association to release him from these commitments.

It is unlikely that Wales will release him though. Bale is not just another player on the Wales' squad - he is the very dragon on their shield, the soul of the team, the leader on and off the pitch: a top notch player for a fairly humble squad.

Real Madrid understands perfectly that, for Gareth Bale, playing for his country is very special. However, Carlo Ancelotti believes it is essential he starts work at Valdebebas as soon as possible. In fact, the Italian coach, together with his technical staff, Giovanni Davide and his own son, Mauri Ancelotti, has devised a specific plan for the Welsh star to bring him up to speed with the rest of his teammates as soon as possible.
