Tello agrees to raising €10 million clause

Cristian Tello is staking his future on Barcelona. A few days ago, he received the news that the club wanted to negotiate an improved contract with him, and above all, to increase the €10 million clause that several other European clubs were prepared to pay for him.

Tello has always wanted to stay on at Barcelona, but he was beginning to have some doubts, given the strength of the competition facing him next season in Tito's team. Currently, there are quite a lot of names on the list of forwards.

At the moment, Barcelona can call on Messi, Neymar, Villa, Alexis Sánchez, Pedro, Deulofeu, Bojan, Afellay, Cuenca and Tello himself, but not on Bojan, Cuenca and Afellay have been out on loan, and additionally the club is trying to loan out Deulofeu, while Villa wants to leave. In spite of all this, there is talk of signing yet another forward, but one with different characteristics, but it is highly unlikely that this will happen.

Even so, Tello is aware that he is going to find it hard to get a game. Messi and Neymar are untouchable, while the other forward position will be between Pedro and Alexis. It will be a hard struggle. For this reason Tello was seriously considering the possibility of leaving Barça and taking one of the offers which have reached him from around Europe. Both Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund would be prepared to pay €10 million and sign him up right away.
