Spanish TV channel La Sexta has revealed that Carlo Ancelotti signed a pre-contract with Real Madrid in March 2006. The agreement was for two seasons on a salary of €3.5 million a year and included an indemnity clause of €1.5 million for the coach if the 'Los Blancos' club backed out. It all hinged, however, on the manager's breaking away from Milan…and Galliani refused to let him go.
